Research and Evaluation

We have carried out research projects using diverse methodologies. Examples include:

. An integrated evaluation of a national health promotion campaign, including a three-year cohort study    

. An online survey of Directors of Public Health on policy and programmes for cycling. This is the baseline for activity carried out by the English Regions Cycling Development Team

. Stakeholder interviews to provide case studies of effective joint planning between transport and health authorities, for the Health Development Agency.

. Ongoing quality control and advice for TAPESTRY - a major European research programme on travel awareness, conducted by the University of Westminster    

. Qualitative research among stakeholders in local government and primary care, to review a physical activity strategy, on behalf of Birkenhead and Wallasey Primary Care Trust.
