Nick Cavill, BA (Hons), MPH
Nick has extensive experience in health promotion at national and international level. He was formerly the head of physical activity programme from 1994 – 2000 where he managed a team of ten and a £9m budget. This work included a major programme covering national policy development; research and evaluation together with the national physical activity integrated campaign. He later carried out a part-time secondment to the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) to manage a programme of work on transport and health and a major mass media campaign. He also worked at the World Health Organization in Geneva, developing a global policy network. In 2006 he completed his Masters degree in Public Health, gaining a distinction.
